1) What is Murder Squad thing? Does people like BG Knocc out belong to the posse ?

The M-Squad is a spin offgroup from the SCC it started as a compillation and grew into it's own movement. So yea BG Knocc Out,Dresta,Big Mike,Spice 1, Treach,Eiht etc. Are all down with the M-Squad Posse

2)On the East Coast we got Havoc & Prodigy ( Mobb Deep) and on the West Coast there are Havoc and Prodeje, is there a coincidence? Who came first (with the names) ?

Well we were Havikk,Havoc and Prodeje years before there was a Mobb Deep homie. I made a solo cd when i was a teenager and i was Prodeje even then. Im not saying they stole our names but we 4 sho did'nt steal there's I guess it's just a coincedence.

3)Is South Central Cartel a band, or a collective ( I mean posse or crew)
, as for me a crew is made of several artists with a consistent solo career ( for example NWA, Juice Crew, Westside Connection, Hieroglyphics, even PE or Geto Boys or Digital Underground, and of course WU TANG CLAN) and a band exists by itself ( few solo projects, like 3rd Bass or Eric B & Rakim ...hope you understand what i mean)?

We're a crew homie everybody does their own things on the side always have.

4) Could you relate SCC story (and how came the side projects)?

We all had our own thang from the start. I decided to start a group to help everybody get in the position to do their own thing on a bigger level. Me and Havikk had a finished CD before we even formed the SCC. I just decided we should bring everybody along with us and that's why the SCC was formed.

5)Could SCC have been signed on Ruthless records or Deathrow?

We could have been with any label we chose but we were always our own men. We never really had anyone take us up under their wing or help us blow up. We new Eazy E personally so 4 sho we could have made that happen.

6)How would you define gangsta rap and G Funk for newcomers?

Gangsta Rap is a lifestyle G-Funk is a Movement both are apart of how we live real raw and un-cut. I call it TRUE LIFE MUSIC.

7)there's a quite popular dance style called Crip walk, according to you, who's entitled to use that style, are there "codes of honor" or anybody can do anything with it?

The way i came up homie C-Walkin was for CRIPS everybody that knows what's really up knows what im talking about. If you did the C-Walk in the wrong hood you were stomped out or worst. You see how WC gets down throwing up the Westside. That's how it's done in the HOOD but you throw up your Gang or Hood..
8)Did you witness the West Coast electro funk era ( Arabian Prince, Egyptian Lover, Bobby Jimmy, Timex Social Club, Uncle Jam's Army...) ?

Yea i remember listening to all those cats on KDAY lol. When i was a tiny tot.

9)What about popping and locking dance styles?

Seen it all i used to be out there trying to do all that crazy shit hahaha..

10)what's the difference between a player, a gangster and a hustler ( common words in the rap realm nowadays)?

A Player is a ladies man. A hustler is a money maker and a gangster is a gangbanger or someone that'll fucc you up with no hesitation. Lol. Im a GANGSTA!!!

11)how do you create SCC songs, sampling, playing real instruments, freestyling or waiting inspiration to write some lyrics?

We do whatever works homie if i find a tight aas sample i'll do that a lot of the time we have everything played live what ever it takes to make it hottt.Once we have the beat the rest just flows from there.

11bis)There's a MTV broadcast called "Gentlemen's Club" with Fonzworth Bentley when former criminals are supposed to become classy honorable citizens, what do you think about that?

It's all gay ass bullshit to me homie FUCC That corny ass shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

12) On "All day Everyday" & "Gz are on the move" videos we can see policemen "working", how do you explain the fact that it's nowadays seldom showed, people rather put lowriding, dime pieces ( i mean video playmates) and rivers of alcohol flowing in videos?

Once again Bullshit there's very few real cats left in the mainstream music biz. If you want what's good you gotta come to the hood. Look for www. hoodgoodmusic. com real soon Only hood music you can't get anywhere else.

13) What is the message behind (the song) "Gz are on the move" ( which is my fave)?

It's basically explaining a day in the life of a G. The hustlin, bangin, slangin trying to maintain as well as the backstabbing that happens in a g's life and the pain hood life brings at times. But through it all we keeps it moving.

14) Could you talk about your Def Jam period ( there was also Jayo Felony and Warren G signed by the record label)? Good memories?

Yea at times it was good but i don't think Def Jam really understood Gangsta Rap at that time. It was money to them they had no love or respect for the music to me. At least not all the folks that worked there at that time. But i appreciate the opportunity they gave us. Russell and Lyor were some cool MF's

15) What happened for SCC after "Westsurrection"?

We just been doing our own things Havikk has a few projects in the works. I have a few as well Young Prodeje has the Caliboys and LV is working on his new CD as well.Everything is G right now.

16) Plans for the future ? feel free to say anything missed or left aside...

Well you can expect to see me a lot in 2009 i have a new group G.N.T-GANGSTANATION TRUES our first cd will hit the streets in March. The first single should be hiting the streets real soon as well. Peep my myspace pages to hear new music soon. And i just wanna give love to my tried and true SCC fans we love yall for riding with us through the years and we got at least one more cd for yall in 09!!!!!!!!!!!Thanks for the interview Saul appreciate it homie...

ONE CAPITAL UNDER A GROOVE ! Gréements De Fortune & P FUNK ALL STARS, Baaclan, 27 aout 2008

I can, it would be more difficult to translate in German and Swedish or whatever because I cannot get in touch with AfroB neither Uschi Digart ...So my pilgrimage was Bataclan, August 27th for the P Funk ritual, trying to reach the originators, be Eddie Hazel, George Clinton, Billy Bass Nelson, Bootsy, Bernie, Maceo, Kidd Funkadelic... ( the followers being people like Spice 1, Above The Law, Digital Underground, South Central Cartel, Egyptian Lover, Arabian Prince, I mean G funk era and electro funk era, you see?) If you don't it's like this ain't it atomic ? or that no darkness allowed bref on arrive devant le Bataclan après qq péripéties, entrée sans prblème et sans être fouillé à fond ( tant mierux pour les photos, encore que...v le résultat...)et le set des GREEMENTS DE FORTUNE se termine..c'est quoi les GDF, c'est ça allez un petit bonus, j'aurais pu arriver comme cela devant le Bataclan, Gurujee aussi et il aurait eu moins d'ennuis :-)open sesame des vrais stars !
